RS:One Continues its Journey on the International Stage
Posted On:  05/06/2015 10:13:49

First appearing on the scene as an ISAF Class in 2011, the NeilPryde RS:One continues its journey on the international stage in France.  Loctudy in Finistere (Brittany) will host the RS: One European Championships 2015 from 5 to 11 July and the excitement is building.

With a format that is deliberately simple and open, many women and men will compete for an overall classification within the three divisions in the program: Open, Espoir (under 22 years) and Masters (over 40 years), with equipment available to competitors - for rental or for sale.

All using the same equipment, the competitors will compete in three types of competition: "Regatta" which is course racing, in classic format;  "Pulsar" - again course racing, but short races with reaching starts. and "Enduro"- marathon, which will be a long distance journey in the Bay of Loctudy.  The exact format will of course be dependant upon conditions.

A note at the end of the event, the European champions will be invited - all expenses paid! - to the Philippines in December for the RSOne World Championships on Lake Taal.  Yet another good incentive to enter!
