Posted On:  30/11/2014 11:37:35

Both the RS:X and RS:One have been confirmed as equipment to be used in the sailing events scheduled for the 2018 Asian Games.  The announcement was made on 20th November by Malav Schroff, President of the Asian Sailing Federation (ASAF).

Windsurfing will take 4 of the 14 events - 2 for men and 2 for women. The 18th edition of the Games will be hosted by Indonesia in Jakarta, with the exact dates yet to be confirmed. However, the early announcement of equipment selection for the regatta will enable the Asian nations to prepare thoroughly.
