At the mid-year Council meeting in London on the 14th May, the World Sailing Council approved the World Sailing 5-year Strategy 2018-2022.

The strategy was developed following 18 months of debate and consultation which included over 940 inputs from 88 Member National Authorities.

The strategy consists of 4 goals:
Inspiration and Participation, Membership and Governance, Sport Integrity and Leadership in Sport. 

The goals are underpinned by 33 strategies together with measures which will allow us to easily monitor and report on progress.
